How to Commute to Kamay Ni Hesus (Lucban, Quezon) from Alabang

What's special about this place?

Healing priest Fr. Joey Faller is based in Kamay Ni Jesus, a small parish located at the outskirts of Lucban, Quezon. For those who cannot travel during the weekday, Fr. Faller holds healing masses every Saturday at 9:30am. The mass itself is an hour long with a short break before the start of the healing session proper, but because of the long lines the healing session itself can last up to around 1pm.

You can check the regular schedules for healing masses at this website. However, the website is not updated according to the most recent schedules and Fr. Faller is sometimes out of town or out of the country, so you may want to call (042) 540-2206 first to check if Fr. Faller will be there on the date you're planning to visit.

Start Point: Alabang

List of PUV Terminals

Option 1: By bus

Route used: SLEX > Maharlika Highway > Tayabas-Lucena Road > Lucban-Tayabas Road

1. At Alabang South Station, ride the Lucena-bound bus and get off near the intersection of Maharlika Highway and Tayabas-Lucena Road. The conductor will shout "Diversion! Pa-bayan!" and that's your cue to get down. Here's the Google Map reference.
2. The bus will drop you off near the jeeps that will take you into Lucena city itself. Now walk towards the Jollibee at the intersection itself (check the Google Map reference earlier). Beside Jollibee along the Tayabas-Lucena Road is the terminal for the jeeps headed to Lucban.
3. Get on the jeep and tell the conductor you will get down at Kamay Ni Hesus. It will be on the left side of the road.

Option 2: By van

Route used: SLEX > Real Road > National Highway > various provincial roads passing through Bay, Nagcarlan, Liliw and Majayjay > Lucban-Tayabas Road

1. At Festival Mall, go to the X-Site Entrance Terminal and take the van headed to Lucban.
2. Tell the driver you will get off at Kamay Ni Hesus.

Note: Since the earliest trip out is around 10am (depending on how soon the van is filled), it's not likely you will make it to the healing mass. If the healing mass is the purpose of your trip, you should take the bus. Also, provincial vans cram as many passengers as they can so if you don't get a good seat you should be prepared for some cramped muscles at the end.
